The next World Cup will be held after the summer break from September 15-21 in Minsk, Belarus.

Eastern Europe will be represented by major teams.

EU citizens do NOT require a visa if they stay in Belarus for less than 30 days ! The complete announcement will be made shortly.

Our representative and confirmed chairman of the of the WKF BELARUS is Mr. Khmialkou Siarhei –  Хмельков Сергей Васильевич!.

Since the European congress in Moldova in June 2025, he was new elected WKF EUROPE continental President. He is General Director of the Republican Olympic Center and “Stayki”.

Initial information about the next World Championships in November 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia, will also follow very soon. 

Our Amateur World President Mr. Carlos SUAREZ from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will be official WKF observer. He will attend the WKF Board meeting in Minsk, where high-ranking WKF representatives from Eastern Europe and Asia are expected. Many new, exciting events are in the works.

AND: the last WKF World Cup this Year will be from November 13-15 in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia!

An officially sanctioned International Referee Seminar will take place on October 20th in Mielec, Poland.

This seminar will prepare our best international referees for the upcoming 2026 World Championships and renew their WKF licenses.

No WKF license,

no WKF Referee!

To date, 14 nations from Latin and Central America alone have been confirmed for the 2026 World Championships in Cartagena, Colombia.

Therefore, around 1.000 South Americans – men and women – are expected!

Our friends will be returning with numerous amateur boxers. Anyone who attended the last World Championships 2024 in Alicante saw the level of our sports friends for themselves. 

The next World Referee Seminar will take place in November 2026 in Cartagena.
